Grain marketing breakfast Friday
The Wood County Extension Office will host a grain marketing breakfast Friday from 8 to 10 a.m. at Ole
Zim’s Wagon Shed, 1375 Ohio 590, Gibsonburg.
Grain market update will be presented by The Andersons.
The cost is $15 payable at the door, and include a breakfast buffet and all other materials.

Free legal clinic Thursday
The Neighborhood Legal Clinic will hold a free legal advice clinic Thursday at the Bowling Green Alliance
Church, 1161 Napoleon Road, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Attorneys will be available to answer questions and give advice for most matters except criminal.
BG chief is Kiwanis guest
Bowling Green Police Chief Gary Spencer will speak to the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club at noon on Thursday
at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
Spencer will reflect on his 30 years with the BG police department. He has announced his retirement,
effective March 18, and has served as chief since June 2006.
A native of Bowling Green, he is a graduate of Bowling Green High School, attended Bowling Green State
University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy’s 192nd session.
Fish fry Friday in BG
A lake perch fish fry will be held Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at VFW Post No. 1148, located at 719 S.
Main St. in Bowling Green.
The cost for the all-you-can eat dinner is $11 per person.
G. Rapids Legion has fish fry
GRAND RAPIDS – Alva N. Sidle Post No. 232 American Legion will have a fish fry on Friday. Serving will be
from 5 to 7 p.m. at the post home, 12580 U.S. 24.
The all-you-can-eat meal is $8.
