Man arrested for drugs, assault
A Toledo man was arrested on drug charges and assault on Napoleon Road late Friday afternoon.
According to Bowling Green Police, Antonio Smith was arrested for possession of marijuana (less than 100
grams), possession of drug paraphernalia, and assault following an incident reported at 5:09 p.m. in the
700 block of Napoleon Road.
A marijuana grinder and 5.44 grams of marijuana were found on him.
He was taken to the Wood County Justice Center.
Vehicle broken into in Risingsun
RISINGSUN – A sheriff’s deputy reported a vehicle break-in in the village early this morning.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, at 12:31 a.m. a deputy called for assistance in the 100
block of Fostoria Road near Walnut Street regarding juveniles that had just broken into a vehicle.
The deputy reported that the juveniles were running across U.S. 23.
Pancake meal is Jan. 23 in
Lake Township
MILLBURY – A pancake breakfast sponsored by the Lake Township Fire Department will be held Jan. 23 from 8
a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ayers Road station.
The cost is $6 for adults and $5 for seniors and children ages 5 to 12. Children ages 4 and under are
free.
