Otsego’s girls out-scored Elmwood 25-14 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the win in a Suburban
Lakes League game Thursday.
In other games in the SLL, it was: Lake 55, Gibsonburg 18; and Genoa 57, Woodmore 44.
In the Midland Athletic League, it was: Old Fort 31, Lakota 29; and New Riegel 51, North Baltimore 39.

In a non-league game, Tiffin Columbian defeated Eastwood, 62-35.
In a boys Toledo Area Athletic Conference game, Northwood edged Cardinal Stritch, 57-54.
GIRLS
Otsego 64, Elmwood 52
In Jerry City, Otsego’s Micaela Murphy led all scorers with 23 points as the Knights improved to 3-7
overall and 2-3 in the SLL.
Morgan McCullough added 10 points for Otsego.
Elmwood’s Brittany Gross finished with 22 points, while Sierra Beckford added 15.
The Royals are 1-8, 1-3.
Genoa 57, Woodmore 44
In Genoa, the Comets stayed undefeated with the victory.
Julie Swartzmiller and Brandi Schimming each had 14 points to lead Genoa, now 10-0, 4-0. Alyssa Meis
added 12 points.
Audrey Thorbahn led Woodmore (5-5, 3-2) with a game-high 22 points.
Old Fort 31, Lakota 29
In Old Fort, the Stockaders out-scored Lakota 11-0 in the fourth quarter en route to the league win.
Old Fort is 5-5, 1-3. Lakota is 2-8, 0-5.
Old Fort’s Sarah Kramer led all players with 12 points.
Miranda Guerra led the Raiders with nine points.
New Riegel 51, North Baltimore 39
In North Baltimore, New Riegel overcame a 29-20 halftime deficit to post the MAL victory.
The Blue Jackets are 6-2, 3-2. The Tigers are 8-3, 2-2.
Amy Wank led New Riegel with a game-high 17 points.
Jessica Frost led NB with eight points, while Megan Wright added seven points.
Tiffin Columbian 62, Eastwood 35
In Tiffin, Columbian led 39-17 at halftime and cruised to the win.
TC is 9-0, while Eastwood is 1-8.
Maya Brown and Amanda Williams each had 16 points to pace the Tornadoes.
Alanna Heestand led Eastwood with seven points.
BOYS
Northwood 57, Cardinal Stritch 54
In Northwood, the Rangers’ David Green poured in 28 points as Northwood improved to 2-2 in the TAAC. The
Rangers are 3-5 overall.
Justin Staler led Stritch, now 2-7, 1-4, with 20 points.

Timberstone defeated Bowling Green, 52-37. Recording victories for the Bobcats were, Brock Gorris, Mitch

EIGHTH GRADE
Eastwood beat Elmwood, 40-16. Leaders for Elmwood were: Keyon Camden, Jayden Edwards, and Ryan
Aufdendamp.
Lake defeated Otsego, 47-31. Leaders for the Flyers, now 2-1, were: Connor Bowen, 14 points; and Jared
Rettig and Todd Walters, eight points each.
SEVENTH GRADE
Lake topped Otsego, 37-23. Leaders for Lake, now 3-0, were: Aaron Witt, 12 points; and Mason Veler, 11
points.
