Johnny D. Miller, 52, listed as homeless by police and of Toledo by municipal court, was arrested around
1:50 a.m. for operating a vehicle while impaired/refusal, state OVI with prior refusal, driving under
suspension (five counts), marked lanes, and failure to display license plate. He was taken to jail, and
was also found to have a warrant through West Virginia for auto theft. That state will extradite.

for right of way at stop sign.

Terry L. Oleary, Bowling Green, was cited for three counts driving under suspension, and for unauthorized
plates. He also has a warrant from Erie County for failure to appear.
An East Napoleon Road resident reported theft of money from his apartment.
Mark Wortham, 23, Toledo, was cited for driving under suspension, no seat belt and unauthorized plates.
He was taken to jail.

Franklin E. Camp III, 21, Perrysburg, was arrested outside an East Wooster Street business shortly after
3 a.m., and was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated. He was taken to jail.
Thefts: pink iPod Nano from vehicle, 500 block Monroe Court; black flatbed trailer, 5 feet by 8 feet,
from Quality Inn parking lot, 1550 E. Wooster St.

¥ at Galatea Road and Eagleville Road. Abdullahi Ibrahim, Phoenix, Ariz., was cited for failure to
maintain reasonable control and traffic control device after the 2007 Freightliner tractor-trailer he
was driving reportedly attempted to make a turn onto Galatea Road and went on top of a concrete bridge
abutment, becoming stuck. Extensive damage was reported to the abutment and the bridge. Neither Ibrahim
nor his passenger reported injury.
¥ at a location one-tenth of a mile north of 14292 South River Road in Freedom Township. Gary Sabo,
Portage, was cited with driver’s license required and operating without reasonable control.
A mailbox was reported struck and broken on Liberty Hi Road in Bowling Green. The incident occurred Dec.
23. A neighbor reported seeing a tan vehicle in the area with a trailer, which had damaged their yard
and a fence.
A Milton Center woman was booked into the justice center on one count of domestic violence following an
incident in which she reportedly struck her grandmother with a shoehorn.
On Watson Road, Wayne, a woman reported someone stole $360 from her bank account.
A house on Bays Road, Wayne, was reportedly shot with a paintball gun during the overnight hours.
Theft of tools was reported on Mervin Street, Risingsun.
Telephone harassment by prank calls was reported on Brim Road in rural Bowling Green.

¥ at Weston Road approximately a quarter-mile north of U.S. 6. A 2000 Chrysler 300M driven by Logan
Sheffer, Grand Rapids, reportedly swerved to miss a deer and went off the side of the road, striking a
ditch.
On Corey Street, Cygnet, two deputies responded to the report of an unruly 10-year-old male who had
become violent. He was transported to Children’s Resource Center and a copy of the incident report was
to be forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor.
Several calls were received regarding the sound of gunfire in the area of North Center Street and East
Strong Avenue, Wayne.
An unwanted guest incident was reported on Church Street, Bradner.
A mailbox was reported to have been torn down on King Road in rural Bowling Green.
Shots were reported in the area of a trailer court on River Road, Grand Rapids.
A vehicle was reported to be stuck on the frozen pond at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Living
Community in Pemberville.
A deputy responded to the report of a dispute in Jerry City between a man and a woman.
Two deputies responded to a dispute in reference to a man involved in a domestic violence incident in
Jerry City.

¥ at 12906 State Route 18 in Bloom Township. A 1991 Dodge Dynasty driven by Jon Cross, Findlay,
reportedly struck a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Austin Conley, North Baltimore. Cross was cited for
failure to yield right of way from a private drive.
On Gilbert Road, Luckey, a Nintendo DS video game system was reported taken at a Christmas party and
found in the possession of a male juvenile.
A wrecker was reportedly stuck on a property, causing damage to the yard, on U.S. 6 in rural Bowling
Green.

Operating a vehicle while under the influence (refusal), open container in a motor vehicle, stopping or
parked in a roadway – Arturo Gonzales, Findlay.

¥ at Ohio 163 a quarter-mile west of Lemoyne Road. A 2006 Chevrolet Impala driven by Amanda Dickerson,
Pemberville, reportedly lost control and twice struck the guardrail on the north side of the road.
Dec. 27
¥ at Ohio 163 one-tenth of a mile west of Fostoria Road. A 2006 Dodge Sprinter driven by Jeffrey Malicki,
Holland, reportedly went off the right side of the road and into a ditch.
A locked vehicle parked at a residence on Walnut Street in Risingsun reportedly was entered and a number
of items taken, including a purple purse with six credit cards, driver’s license, work keys and
approximately $12 in cash; an iPod charger valued at $20; and 10 compact discs valued at $150. A CD, the
charger and a lighter were later recovered nearby.
A horse was reported loose on Defiance Pike in Custar.
The area around Liberty Hi Road and Tyler Road in rural Bowling Green was reportedly closed due to a
water leak, with signs posted at Cross Creek Road and Kellogg Road.
Kyle Taylor, Luckey, was taken into custody Dec. 18 and issued a summons for disorderly conduct with
persistence following an incident in the village.
Two deputies responded Dec. 28 in reference to a caller who advised that a young male in a gray hooded
sweatshirt was in the back yard of his East Main Street residence. It was reported the subject may have
entered the caller’s house.
A deputy responded on Dec. 28 to the report of a burglary at a residence in the 17000 block of Robinson
Road in rural Bowling Green. A Samsung television, valued at $699, was reported stolen.
In the 900 block of Main Street in Jerry City, a safe lockbox, containing $850 in cash, as well as rare
coins, jewelry, vehicle title papers and old currency, was reported stolen from a residence.
