A few hardy bicyclists got their first miles of 2011 this morning taking part in the Bean Ride from
Bowling Green’s City Park. Although the weather was warm for Jan. 1 and there was no ice, remants of
overnight showers and thunderstorms made for a wet start. After the ride there was bean soup and warm
drinks in the Girl Scout Building. The event was sponsored by the Black Swamp Bicycling Society and the
