Learning that you, a loved one, friend or co-worker has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or
another memory loss disorder can be a difficult and confusing time. Where can you turn for help?
The Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter offers Care Consultation services, a free service
available to anyone affected by Alzheimer’ disease or related memory loss disorder.
Care Consultation is a one-on-one meeting to discuss individualized needs and can be offered in the
privacy of an individual’s home, in a neutral setting, or at one of the five area Alzheimer’s
Association offices.
A staff member can provide education, answer questions about the disease process of Alzheimer’s or
related memory loss disorders, how to plan for future needs, discuss options for the future, assist
family in defining goals, and provide information on available community resources.
