She was born on January 18, 1934, in Findlay, OH to Leroy and Virginia (Bartelbaugh) Gordon. On December

19, 2000; they were united for 48 years.
Janice is survived by her own five children and their spouses, whom she often considered as her own
children. Mrs. Cynthia "Cindy" Croker and her husband David of Elk Grove, CA; Steven L. Cook
and his wife Patricia of Custar; Robert E. Cook and his wife Holly of Columbus, GA; Gary L. Cook of
Findlay, and Mrs. Joyce A. White and her husband Chris, of Findlay.
Janice enjoyed her four grandchildren: Dr. Amber Carda and her husband, Jeffery; Ryan Cook and his wife,
Amy; Mrs. Tarah Sepelak and her husband, George; and Darick Cook and his wife, Jamie. Janice was also
blessed with three great-grandchildren.
Janice is also survived by two brothers, Mr. James Gordon, Pahrump, NV, and Mr. Richard "Gene"
Gordon and his wife Sally, Bradner, OH, and a sister, Mrs. Wilma Siegel, Cincinnati, OH.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Gordon.
Janice worked at RCA as Quality Controls Supervisor, and retired February 1, 1996.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 539 and John W. Sterling Aerie 2633, both of North
Baltimore, and a former member of the Eastern Star Chapter.
Many of Janice’s most memorable occasions were when she visited family, or when family members gathered
from around the country at her home to enjoy the laughter from many stories shared.
In Janice’s spare time she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, movies and dining with friends and set aside a special
time to enjoy her favorite NASCAR drivers (cheering for Jeff Gordon).
