BG’s Hepple earns MAC soccer honor
AKRON — Bowling Green men’s soccer senior Cameron Hepple was named to the All-Mid-American Conference
second team. The team was announced Friday after voting by the league’s coaches.
Hepple, a forward, also earned second-team as a sophomore in 2007.
Hepple led the Falcons in scoring this season with 10 goals and 21 points. Hepple amassed his point total
in just 12 matches, missing six full contests and parts of two others due to injury.
Akron swept the speciality awards with Teal Bunbury being named player of the year; Zarek Valentin,
newcomer of the year; and Caleb Porter, coach of the year.
