Food donation is the fee for fall fun

The Montessori School of Bowling Green PTO of the school is hosting a Fall Harvest Party Friday from 6:30
to 8 p.m. at the school on Sand Ridge Road.
The event will include carnival games, fall crafts, and make-your-own caramel apples.
Instead of this event being a school fundraiser, organizers are focusing on the spirit of the
Thanksgiving season by having everyone bring cans of food as admission to the games which will be
donated to the Bowling Green Christian Food Pantry.
This will allow the children to focus on all of the things they have to be thankful for while having fun
for a good cause.
Another special part of our evening will be an activity called "Are You Better Than Your FIT
Grader?"
There will be several obstacle course type stations set up and will have parents and children compete.

These stations will be designed for children ages 3 to 12.
The school will also be at the library at 3 p.m. Saturday to present materials and answer questions about
Montessori education as part of the parent education series "Montessori Show and Tell."
It will follow an interactive recital combining flute music and picture books.
The flute performance will be composed and performed by one of the Montessori’s music teachers, Jennie
Trenton, titled "Music and the Picture Book".
