Walbridge plans block watch mtg.
WALBRIDGE – There are a few dates to mark for village events.
The next block watch meeting will be Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the town hall.
"We need everybody to be interested and come together," said Council President Maureen
Jacobsen, noting that 10 people attended the October meeting.
The finance committee meets Wednesday at 8 a.m. and the safety committee meets Monday at 6:30 p.m.
Panic/Anxiety group to meet
The Panic and Anxiety Disorder Support Group will meet Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Medical Building
conference room at Wood County Hospital. The topic is "managing an anxiety disorder during the
holiday season."
Refreshments will be provided. There is no fee.

Older Christmas stockings sought
PEMBERVILLE – Pemberville-Freedom Area Historical Society is looking for "older" Christmas
stockings and sock monkeys to be used in decorating the village’s oldest frame house. The society also
is asking for the history or memories associated with each item.
Items need to be clearly marked with owner’s name and phone number and short bio. All items will be
returned by Dec. 15.
Stockings/sock monkeys can be dropped off at Riverbank Antique Market or Beeker’s General Store before
Tuesday.
Vets program set at BG church
Celebrate Veterans Day by coming to First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday to hear Dee Pakulski share
stories and information about veterans and the Northwest Ohio Honor Flight program.
Elmer Long will show slides of his Navy experience, Dave Chilson speaking about veterens who have taken
the Honor Flight and finish with Dee Pakulski telling about the founding of the program and ways people
can get involved.
Dinner is available for $3 per person or $9 per family at 6 p.m. Speakers at 7.
Babysitting is available for $1 per child.
