Ruth F. Miller, 87, of Bowling Green, Ohio, died on Wednesday (November 4, 2009) in Bowling Green.
Ruth was born August 11, 1922 in Michigan to Edward & Edna (Heaten) Schlegel. She married Robert
Griner in 1942 and he preceded her in death. She then married William Miller in 1965 and he preceded her
in death.
She is survived by her son, Robert Griner of Arizona, daughters, Sharon ("Sib") Randolph of
Portage, Marcie (Charles) Reynolds of Wayne, brothers, Edward & William Schlegel, both of
Florida, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Norman and Harold Schlegel.
Ruth was a retired LP Nurse.
She was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church and was a Lake High School graduate.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday (November 9, 2009) at 10:30 a.m. at the DUNN FUNERAL
HOME, 408 W. Wooster St. (located in the Historical District of Bowling Green). Rev. Steve Davis will
officiate. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.
Visitation will begin on Monday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Wood Haven Health
Care.
