BG police warn of possible scam
The Bowling Green Police Division is investigating the complaint of two white males talking their way or
walking into the homes of citizens uninvited. While one tries to sell linoleum and distract the resident
another goes to other parts of the home and in one instance stole a purse and broke into a safe.
The subjects are described as one male in his 20s and one middle-aged mad driving a smaller white pickup
truck with some type of black container in the back.
The Police Division asks that if a door to door salesman is at your door do not allow them entry to your
home and call police immediately.
Plan commission holds 2 hearings
Bowling Green’s Planning Commission has two public hearings scheduled as part of its November meeting

The commission will likely set public hearings for the Dec. 2 meeting on proposals to rezone
