Every time I frequent the great Wood County Public Library I check out the recent non-fiction section.

On my last visit I chose a book by author Lawrence C. McDonald entitled "A Colossal Failure of
Common Sense." Subtitled "The Inside Story of the Collapse of Lehman Brothers."
I was, as they say, blown away. If anyone has an interest in how America’s economy has completely crashed
and why, just read this book. It describes how one greedy man and personal self-interest took down one
of the most revered investment firms of all time, effecting not only the United States but the whole
world’s financial future. Excellent read.
