(Updated at 9:45 a.m. 11-3) PERRYSBURG — Township police have arrested a Bowling Green man suspected of
robbing a cash advance business at gunpoint on Friday.
Det. Scott Moskowitz confirmed early this morning that Matthew Nagley, 39, 437 S. Enterprise St., was
placed into custody after police received a tip on a vehicle matching the description on South
Enterprise Street. He is being held at Wood County Justice Center on charges of robbery and theft. The
bond was set at $50,000.
According to police, the robbery occurred at the Advance America Cash Advance on Fremont Pike. At about
2:45 p.m., a man wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes and an inside-out blue sweat shirt entered the
store. Once inside, he pulled a black ski mask over his face and produced a hand gun from his pocket.

The subject fled with an unknown amount of cash, possibly in a red-over-blue sports car. The car in
question had rods on the trunk for a spoiler, although the spoiler was missing.
Police had described the subject as a white male in his mid-30s, 5 feet and 10 inches and 175 to 200
pounds with reddish blond hair and facial hair.
Moskowitz said the gun seen on the security camera has not been located.
The detective said Monday that the man put on a mask after entering the store because he had to be buzzed
in by the clerk, who was the only person in the business at the time. No one was injured.
Nagley is scheduled for an initial appearance in Perrysburg Municipal Court via video at 1:30 this
afternoon.
