Starting times changed for Falcon hockey games
The starting times have changed for three Bowling Green Falcon hockey games.
The Falcons’ games at Nebraska-Omaha this weekend have been changed to 8:35 p.m. Friday and 9:05 p.m.
Saturday.
BG’s home game against Alaska Nov. 14 has been changed to 7:35 p.m. The change was made to avoid a
conflict with the Falcons’ home volleyball match which starts at 6.
BG men’s soccer loses
DAYTON – The Bowling Green State University men’s soccer team fell to Wright State, 2-0, in a
non-conference match Wednesday. BG is2-10-3 overall and Wright State is 5-9-1.
Dylan Schoettley made four saves for BG.
Lake girls picked to repeat SLL title
Lake’s girls basketball was the unanimous pick of the coaches to repeat as Suburban Lakes League
champions this season. The vote was taken during the coaches preseason meeting Wednesday.
The complete poll was: 1) Lake, 49 points; 2) Genoa. 34; 3) (tie) Otsego and Woodmore, 33 each; 5)
Eastwood, 26; 6) Gibsonburg, 14; and 7) Elmwood, 8.
The boys coaches decided not to have a poll this season.
Two from county on St. John’s golf team
TOLEDO – Austin Gardner from Bowling Green and Hunter Smith from Perrysburg were members of the Toledo
St. John’s Jesuit golf team which was fifth in the Division I state tournament.
