County GOP has Candidates Night in Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG – The Northern Wood County Republican Club will have its annual "Candidates Night"
tonight at 7 at the Holiday Inn Express.
Republican candidates for various Perrysburg-area elected offices will be in attendance to discuss their
campaigns, and campaign materials like yard signs will be available. Additionally, Wood County
Republican Party officials will be present and will discuss the county, state, and national elections.
The Northern Wood County Republican Club meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the
Holiday Inn Express, 10621 Fremont Pike.
Genealogical group meets Tues.
The Wood County Chapter of Ohio Genealogical Society will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Wood County
District Public Library Meeting Room.
The program is titled "The Pros Tell Us What Do With Our STUFF." Steve Charter, director of the
Center for Archival Collections at BGSU, and Randy Brown, curator of the Wood County Historical Museum,
will discuss various options for the disposal of family heirlooms mementoes, and other items that no one
in the family wants.
Much of their discussion will be based on the lists provided to them from the September meeting.
Public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
2 opportunities to donate blood
The American Red Cross will hold two bloodmobiles this week.
On Wednesday, a blood drive will be held at Owens Community College, 30335 Oregon Road, Perrysburg, from
noon to 6 p.m.
On Friday, another drive will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Stadium View Apartments, 1700
Juniper Drive, Bowling Green.
