Jackie Shank of Wateville hosted the Oct. 19 meeting, attended by seven members.
Joyce Asmus read “Heaven is Beautiful” by an Amish girl.
The Otsego Food Pantry sent a letter thanking the chapter for its recent donation to help cover the cost
of flu kits.
Shank gave a review of the book “First Mothers” and told anecdotes about FDR’s mother and Reagan’s
mother.
A mixed fruit dessert, crackers and doughnuts were served.
Barbara Heiman will have the Nov. 2 meeting at which Sandi Woodbury will show Avon products and take
orders.
Members will be making up 24-quart jars of cookie mix to be given to the Otsego Food Pantry at the Nov. 2
meeting.
Heiman will make arrangements for Santa’s visit to the fire hall in the latter part of December.
