Hannah’s Socks at Signature Harley-Davdson
PERRYSBURG – Signature Harley-Davidson in Perrysburg will host a sock collection for Hannah’s Socks
tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. Anyone who donates a pair of new socks will receive a coupon for $10 off a $50
purchase in the store’s MotorClothes Department.
Signature Harley-Davidson is located at 1176 Professional Drive, near Route 20 and Interstate 75.

Eastwood will hold Red Ribbon walk on Friday
LUCKEY – As part of Red Ribbon Week, Eastwood will host a drug-free walk Friday, starting at 5 p.m., at
the marquee in front of the high school. Superintendent Brent Welker will speak prior to the walk.
The community is invited to join in the quarter-mile walk, which will end back at the marquee.
Euchre tourney in Grand Rapids
GRAND RAPIDS – Sons of the American Legion from Grand Rapids Post 232 will hold a euchre tournament
Friday, with sign up at 6:30 p.m., and play starting at 7 p.m.
The post is located at Yawberg Road and U.S. 24.
Food and drink will be available. The cost to participate is $5.
Tree removal damages swing
A portion of a tree being removed in Bowling Green City Park Wednesday morning damaged a swing set while
it was being lowered to the ground.
Director of Public Works Brian Craft said the piece of the tree got out of control. He said the swing set
needs a new pipe and should not be a problem to repair.
No one was injured.
Craft said the ash tree was being removed as part of the city’s eradication effort as a result of the
emerald ash borer.
