Wood County law enforcement agencies recently conducted a "Drunk Driving" awareness program to
more than several hundred incoming freshmen at BGSU.
The program included the use of goggles that simulated different intoxication levels.
Agencies involved included the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, BGSU Police Department, Bowling Greeen
Police Department, Pemberville Police Department, and the State Highway Patrol,
Several area vendors donated gift certificates for the event that was coordinated by Deputy Sandy
Wiechman.
