Toledo sweeps Bison

TOLEDO – Toledo scored nine runs through the first five innings en route to a 10-6 victory over Buffalo
Tuesday. The Mud Hens have won six straight and swept the four-game series with the Bison. Toledo is
54-57 in the International League.
Toledo had 18 hits in the game, with Max St. Pierre finishing 4-for-4 with a home run, double, four RBI,
and two run scored. Mike Hessman and Jeff Frazier each had three hits for the ‘Hens.
Reliever Zach Simmons pitched 11/3 innings of hitless relief for the win.
Nate Robertson and Jeremy Bonderman both pitched for Toledo in rehab assignments for Detroit. Robertson
started the game, allowing one earned run on four hits in 22/3 innings. Bonderman pitched a perfect
fifth in his only inning of work.
