Scot Mathew Glassford, 47, of Perrysburg, died Sunday, August 2, 2009.
He was born October 30, 1961 in Toledo.
Scot is lovingly survived by his mother, Rebecca Gibson, Grand Rapids; children, Rebecca (Peter) Adamson,
Toledo, Nathan Paul, Perrysburg and Amanda Glassford, Perrysburg; grandchildren, Peter III and Matthew
Adamson; brother, Dane (Joan) Glassford, Liberty Center; sister, Johna (Jason) Bowman, Swanton; former
wife, RaeNel Glassford, Perrysburg; and nephew and niece, Benjamin and Cameron Glassford.
His father, Jack Glassford, stepfather, John Gibson, grandmother, Betty Newcomb, and great-grandmother,
Hazel Willson, preceded him in death.
A 1980 graduate of Otsego High School, Scot was a computer analyst with Food Town for 25 years. An avid
outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, bike riding, and photography.
Scot was very close to his family and deeply loved his children. He will be remembered for his gracious
heart and willingness to always help.
A memorial gathering and luncheon will be held on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Eagles
Club on Lime City Road, Rossford.
Visitation and burial will be private.
