Liya Jakovlevna Khainson, 73, of Bowling Green, died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio,
Perrysburg.
She was born January 2, 1936 in St. Petersburg, Russia, to Yakov and Basya (Gutin) Ratner. She married
Joseph Khainson in 1967 and he died in 1999.
Liya was a school teacher and a four-year college graduate.
She is survived by her daughter, Kate (Alex) Mejiritski of Bowling Green, grandchildren, Rona and Aaron
Mejiritski.
Funeral Services will be private. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by Dunn Funeral Home, 408 W. Wooster St. (located in the Historical
District of Bowling Green).
Memorial contributions may be given in Liya’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
