Ruby L. Cummins, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio and formerly of Lakeview, Ohio, died Tuesday (July 28, 2009).

She was born July 22, 1922 in El Paso, Texas, to Lee and Loretta Milligan Alspaugh, both deceased. She
married Cecil E. Cummins
on April 19, 1946. He died November 19, 1985.
Mrs. Cummins worked in farming and gardening, and was an avid bowler.
She was very close to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was very active in their lives
Her memberships included the VFW in Bowling Green and Roundhead; Amvets in Bowling Green; and Doyle R.
Miller Post No. 39, Lakeview, Ohio
Survivors include two daughters, Marie Peek of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Connie Kirkhuff of Tennessee; six
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a
sister, Marcella Neeld, Bellefontaine, Ohio; a brother, Chester Alspaugh, Rushsylvania, Ohio; and many
nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Bud, and a sister, Gean.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery, New
Hampshire, Ohio. Pastor Barry Baughman will officiate.
Visitation is Thursday, July 30, 2009 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Sanford-Eichholtz Funeral Home, Lakeview,
Ohio.
