Brent Clevlen and Jeff Frazier led Toledo with three hits, including a home run each. Clevlen had three
RBI. Mike Hessman also homered for Toledo.
Nate Bump (3-0) got the win, pitching eight innings, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks while
striking out three.
On Saturday, the two teams split a doubleheader as Toledo won the second game 2-1 after dropping the
opener 7-2. Toledo managed only nine hits in the two seven-inning games.
In the opener Ryan Roberson hit a two-run home run for Toledo.
In the second game, Jeff Larish and Frazier each hit a solo home run for Toledo to back the pitching of
Ruddy Lugo. Lugo pitched 52â„3 innings of scoreless baseball allowing four hits and three walks while
striking out two. Freddy Dolsi worked his way around four walks close things out.
