PERRYSBURG – A Toledo driver was injured in a single-car accident Saturday after the vehicle struck a
utility pole.
According to the Ohio State Patrol, a vehicle driven by Julie DeAmond, 19, Toledo, was traveling north on
Ohio 199 just south of the city and veered off the right side of the road before hitting a utility pole.
DeAmond, who was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in
Toledo with non-incapacitating injuries.
