Public can check out motor coach convention for $7 or $55 per day

While the Family Motor Coach Association is holding a four-day convention in Bowling Green for its
members July 20-23, local residents are welcome to attend its various activities by purchasing an
admission in several ways:
¥ A daily admission fee of $7 per person allows the guest to see the exhibits, including the motorhome
showcase July 21-23, and watch the daytime entertainment in the tent on the grassy area outside the
Field House. No seminars can be attended with only a daily admission. Children 12 and under are free
with an accompanying adult. Two dollars can be saved on the admission fee if a canned good is brought to
be donated to the Bowling Green Christian Food Pantry. Persons with an active military ID are also
admitted free.
¥ A Daily Passport for $55 allows the guest to see the exhibits and vendors, attend scores of seminars
and classes on the RV lifestyle and how to plan RV trips to popular destinations, plus watch both
daytime and nightly entertainment. The passes must be purchased by 5 p.m. each day.
According to Jerry Yeatts with the FMCA, if someone purchases a Daily Passport late in the afternoon
(between 3 and 5 p.m.), it will also be good for the next day’s seminars and entertainment. Purchasing a
Daily Passport by 5 p.m. on July 22 will allow guests to hear country singer Lorrie Morgan’s concert
that evening. The event’s concluding concert on July 23 will be Phil Dirt and the Dozers. The July 21
evening entertainment is the a cappella singing group 42Five whose voices imitate musical instruments.

¥ A 4-Day Passport is only $194 and is good for two people who are not FMCA members. This passport allows
the holders to see the exhibits and vendors, attend the seminars and have access to all the
entertainment.
The public may purchase the passports or daily admission fee access in the Bowling Green State University
Field House.
Public parking is available at BGSU in Lot 1 at the intersection of Thurstin and Merry avenues.
