Charles Lee Allen Sr., 78, died July 13, 2009 at his home in Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born June 29, 1931 in Ashland, Ky. to Robert and Evelyn (Riffle) Allen.
Charles worked as a brick layer for Mosser Construction for 38 years. He retired in 1992.
He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association.
He married Lona Maxine (Smith) July 15, 1950 in Brandon, Miss. She preceded him in death December 1,
2006.
Survivors include children, Chuck of Weston, Ohio, Gary of Pickerington, Ohio, Steven of Holgate, Ohio
and Vicki Cappelle of Bowling Green, Ohio, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and sister,
Patsy Ripley of Findlay, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
A private family service will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Iuka, Miss.
