Paul ‘Perk’ Spencer

Paul "Perk" Spencer, 85, passed away on July 12, 2009 at the Blakely Care Center.
He was born on January 1, 1924 in Bowling Green to the late Chester L. and Violet (Malone) Spencer. He
was married to Elizabeth Olic on June 29, 1963 and she survives in Perrysburg.
Mr. Spencer was retired from Chrysler, where he was employed for 30 years.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bowling Green.
Also surviving are daughters: Sarah (Rick) Rising of Atlanta, Georgia and Laura Spencer of Bowling Green;
son: Chris (Sherry) Spencer of Cincinnati; brothers: Thomas of Ocala, Florida, Harry Richard of Bowling
Green, and Bradley of Surprise, Arizona; and grandchildren: Tyler, Cory, Ricky, Jake, Hailey, Alyssa,
Brodie, Jeffery and Samantha.
He was preceded by brothers Jim and Owen and sister Ruth Ney.
The family will receive visitors at the Dunn Funeral Home, 408 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green on Tuesday,
July 14, 2009 from 2 to 8 p.m.
To honor his request, a private memorial will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the national Alzheimer’s Association organization.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Blakely Center for the genuine care and compassion shown to
him.
