Water report distributed to BG residents

Bowling Green has distributed its required consumer confidence report regarding the city’s water
treatment facility on the Maumee River and distribution system.
The report is required by the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act 1996 amendment.
The CCR details the city’s water system, source water information, detected contaminants, includes
required language regarding basic information about contaminants and vulnerable populations and
definitions of terms used in the document.
Citizens who did not receive their copy by July 1 or those who have questions can contact the Bowling
Green utilities officer at (419) 354-6246 to obtain a copy, or call the water treatment plant direct at
