PERRYSBURG — Thousands gathered Friday night at Fort Meigs and along both sides of the Maumee River for
the 29th annual River Cities Gala to mark the Independence Day holiday celebration.
The evening culminated with a fireworks displays launched from the Perrysburg-Maumee bridge.
Earlier a free concert by Swingmania entertained the crowd at the fort.
