The deadline is quickly approaching to complete applications for the 2009-2010 Leadership BG program,
sponsored by the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce.
Leadership BG is a nine-month program designed to enhance awareness of the community and the business
industry as well as to foster leadership abilities. Each class is given the challenge of completing a
community project of its choice, enabling the group to work together toward a common goal while
executing individual leadership styles.
After participants have completed the course, they become part of the Leadership BG Alumni group. This
organization continues the education process for members, providing networking and coalition building.
Members of this group serve on boards and commissions, which benefit from their Leadership BG education.

Openings are still available, but prompt application is advisable as the class size is limited.
Application forms may be downloaded from the Chamber of Commerce web site at www.bgchamber.net or
obtained from the chamber office, 163 N. Main St., and must be returned to the chamber by 5p.m. on July
24.
