Support groups set for those with early stage memory loss

Individuals with early stage memory loss, with their families or friends, are invited to attend area
support group programs for social and educational opportunities and group sharing.
Person who are experiencing forgetfulness, mild confusion, or difficulty finding the right words are most
likely to benefit from this program.
In the greater Toledo area, groups meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.; on
the third Wednesday of each month, from 4 to 6 p.m.; and on the last Thursday of each month from 6:30 to
8:30 p.m. The location is the Alzheimer’s Association offices at 2500 N. Reynolds Road, Toledo.
Another northwest Ohio group meets at St. John’s Catholic Church, 510 Jackson St., Defiance, on the
fourth Monday of every month from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room.
Yet another group gathers at the Market Street Presbyterian Church in Lima on the second Tuesday of every
month, 1-2:30 p.m.
