Crowned royalty of the Senior Prom at Bowling Green Manor are Janet Collins and Richard Kepling (photo in
story). In the photo at left Pat (left) and Wid Vernhoff are dancing to the music under a canopy of gold
and black balloons. The event, with the theme ?The Golden Years,? was held last Friday. Barb Ludwig,
activities director, said the manor?s 98 residents were ?so excited? in advance of what was the first
senior prom held at the facility in many years. Goodwill donated many of the women?s dresses and
volunteer seamstresses made shawls for some.
