Trip planned to Mazza Museum
The Children’s Place of the Wood County District Public Library along with the Wood County Committee on
Aging have organized a family visit to the Mazza Museum in Findlay Friday.
The group will depart from the library at 1 p.m. Patrons will be responsible for their own
transportation. Admission to the museum is free.
The Mazza Museum is the home of original artwork by the most distinguished and honored illustrators of
children’s books, and is largest teaching gallery in the world specializing in such art. The Mazza
Museum is located on the University of Findlay campus. The library will provide driving directions.
Poker Run will help Alzheimer’s Assoc.
The second annual A Ride to Remember Poker Run to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association will be held on
Saturday, beginning and ending at Bloomdale Bar and Grill.
Registration begins at noon, with bikes leaving at 1 p.m. The ride is approximately 85 miles and bikes
are due back by 7:30 p.m. Once arriving back there will be food, door prizes, raffles, 50/50 drawing,
and live music provided by Marshall Law.
The cost is $15 for a single rider, $20 with a passenger.

RITA takes over tax collection
ROSSFORD – As of July 1 the Regional Income Tax Authority (RITA) will be responsible for collecting the
municipal income tax in Rossford.
All payments should be made to RITA on and after that date.

Classic cars in Moline on Saturday
MOLINE – Mainstreet Church is having a Classic Car and Motorcycle Show on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3
p.m.
The family event will feature lots of cars, motorcycles, food, children’s activities and more.
The church is located at 5465 Moline-Martin Road off Ohio 795.
Registration is from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. with dash plaques for the first 75 entries.
Trophies and plaques will be awarded.
Pre-registration is $6 and $8 day of show. For those interested in the cruise, there is an additional $4
fee.
