Powers qualifies for match play
DEVENS, Mass. – Bowling Green resident Caroline Powers advanced to the match play portion of the United
States Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship at Red Tail Golf Club.
Powers shot a 1-over-par 73 to finish the 36-hole qualifying at 148, good for a 14-way tie for 29th
place. The field of 156 was cut to 64 for match play which starts today.
Match play begins today and will conclude Saturday with a 36-hole final.
Reimold goes 0-for-3
MIAMI – Former Bowling Green State University standout Nolan Reimold went 0-for-3 in Baltimore’s 7-6 loss
to Florida Tuesday.
Reimold is batting .279 (31-of-111) with eight home runs in 35 games this season.
Bay Park offers physicals
OREGON – Students participating in high school or middle school athletics can receive sports physicals on

The Bowling Green Country Club Golferettes held regular league play on Tuesday.
Joyce Stearns won low net and low putts for Flight A. Sharon Gargasz won low gross, low net, and low
putts for Flight B. Linda Moore won low gross and low net and Jackie Osborne won low putts for Flight C.
