Family toasts Serrato’s graduation
Mr. and Mrs. Greg Serrato, of Rudolph, will celebrate the graduation of their grandson, Gregorio Serrato,
from Hillwood High School in Nashville, Tenn., with a community party June 27 at the Fraternal Order of
Eagles lodge, 1163 N. Main St. in Bowling Green. The event will last from 6 to 11 p.m.
Gregorio, the eldest son of Jody and Rachel Serrato of Nashville, has won a scholarship to Middle
Tennessee State University, where he will major in music recording and producing.
Born in Bowling Green, he began his education at Kenwood Elementary.
At Hillwood, he was captain of his wrestling team and played football for three years. He also
participated in National Honor Society and International Club, and was a volunteer for Big Brothers/Big
Sisters. He currently performs in three bands.
Serrato’s paternal grandparents are former Bowling Green residents Edward and Norma Morris, who now live
in Nashville.
