A free Father’s Day concert by the vocal jazz group 6th Edition will initiate the 577 Concert On The Lawn
Series Sunday at 7 p.m.
The 6th Edition will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The five-voice ensemble performs tightly harmonized
versions of jazz standards and songs from the American song book. The group’s new CD will be available
for purchase.
Also, children can make a craft project from recycled material and paintings by Virginia Bowerman and
drawings by Mariann Rossi will be on exhibit.
This is the first event of a three-concert series featuring a theme of Americana Music.
The other concerts will be: July 26, "Whiskey Before Breakfast" and Aug. 16, the Cake Walkin’
Jass Band.
