Hayden Louis Dean, 88, formerly of Bowling Green, died Thursday (June 11,2009) in Cox Medical Center
South, in Springfield, Mo.
Mr. Dean served in the Army during World War II.
He worked at Dean Brothers Block and Tile Company in Ohio for several years. He moved to Missouri where
he raised Registered Duroc Hogs and worked as a carpenter and master cabinetmaker.
He was born Dec. 29, 1920, in Bowling Green to Willard and Martha Miller Dean. He married Virginia May
Smith on Dec. 29, 1945. She survives.
He is also survived by two daughters, Glenda Dillon, Park Hills, Mo., and Martha Deckard, of Lebanon,
Mo.; two sons, Floyd, of Nicholasville, Ky., and Fred, of Bradner,; four brothers, Clarence, Elmer,
Eugene, and Emil Dean, all of Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two
great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Dean was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Mo. Burial will
be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
