Kurt M. Bonner, 18, of McClure, died Friday (June 12, 2009) at his home.
He graduated in 2008 with honors from Napoleon High School and was a member of the Sons of the American
Legion, Grand Rapids. He was a fan of NASCAR, the Detroit Red Wings and New England Patriots.
Born Aug. 24, 1990 in Toledo, he is survived by his mother and stepfather, Heidi (Hyter) and Bill
Bressler, McClure; father, Marshal Bonner, McClure; sister, Kayla Massie, Grand Rapids; stepbrothers,
Matt Bressler, McClure, and Robert Bressler, Toledo; stepsisters, Shanon Bressler, Wauseon, Sandra
Strall, Napoleon, and Sarah Fenstermaker, Archbold; great-grandfather, Bill Box, Grand Rapids;
great-grandmother, Marcielle Mitchell, Kendallville, Ind.; grandparents, Ron and Carol Perdew,
Ellington, Fla., Butch Hyter, Grand Rapids, and Denver and Judy Geitgey, Grand Rapids.
He was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Doris Box; and grandparents, George and Marion Bonner.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m., Monday at Wright-Hobbs Funeral Home, Grand Rapids. Burial will be in Mt.
Pleasant Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. with a Sons of the American Legion service at 7:30 p.m.
