Saturday service begins
NEW ROCHESTER – St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Rochester is beginning a Saturday evening
"Praise Service" at 5 p.m. each week.
The public is invited.
Rummage sale set
St. Aloysius Catholic Church is holding a rummage sale next Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and June 13 from
9 a.m. to noon.
Proceeds will benefit the church’s St. Vincent de Paul Society. Parishioners or anyone else is invited to
make donations of usable household items and family clothing. Drop off days are Wednesday and Thursday
from 2 to 8 p.m.
The public is invited to patronize the sale.
Dinner musical on tap
The choir of Village View Church of Christ will present a dinner musical on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. The
musical was written by Bettie Dawn Boswell and is entitled, "Queen Esther." The public is
invited.
Senior CSI event set
PERRYSBURG – CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invite all seniors in the area to attend its next
meeting to be held Tuesday at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held the
second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $3 charge for
miscellaneous expenses.
On Tuesday the 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led by Rev. Olive of Stonebridge Presbyterian Church. Lunch
is served at noon, provided by The Glendale.
The program which follows will be Beacon and Associates, an American Association for wartime veterans.

Seniors should call (419) 872-0846 for information and reservations which need to be made by Sunday.
Movie featured tonight
"Faith Like Potatoes" will be the featured movie tonight at 7 at Wood County Baptist Church,
14151 Dirlam Road. The movie is from the producers of "Fireproof." Children’s movies are also
shown.
The church invites people to bring their favorite chair or bean bag or to use what they have available.

CedarCreek expanding meal program
PERRYSBURG – CedarCreek Church has partnered with Vision Ministries in Toledo since the beginning of the
year to bring a "Hot Meals" program to its ministry. It has been a huge success with nearly
100 people receiving meals each Wednesday night.
The program is now expanding to target the children out of school. Lunches for children is being planned
for sometime this month.

Ken Apple Family featured
McCLURE – Westhope Bible Church is sponsoring the Ken Apple Family on June 14 at 10 a.m. The family is
now in its fifth decade of ministry of gospel music.
The current group features Apple, his wife Ernestine and their daughter, Kimberly.
The public is invited to attend.
