Meghan Amanda Erickson and John Matthew "Matt" Gazarek exchanged wedding vows May 16 on the
beach in Sanibel Island, Florida.
Janice Ulrich conducted the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Eric and Karen Erickson, Perrysburg. The groom’s parents are John and Laura
Gazarek, North Baltimore.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless mermaid dress with empire waist and
chapel train, and orchids in her hair.
Melissa Erickson of Perrysburg was maid of honor for her sister.
Marty Gazarek of North Baltimore served as best man for his brother.
Usher was Brandon Erickson, Perrysburg, brother of the bride.
A reception dinner was held at McT’s Schrimp House & Tavern on Sanibel Island.
The couple spent their honeymoon on the island and will be at home in Wood County.
The bride graduated from Perrysburg High School
in 2002 and from Bowling Green State University in 2006. She is employed as a registered nurse in the
emergency room at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
The groom graduated from North Baltimore High School in 1995 and attended the University of Findlay. He
is currently a sergeant with the Perrysburg Township Police Department and serves on the Wood County
Special Response Team.
