Paul Rankin, owner of Xorb LLC, located in Bowling Green, and his company feature absorbent products made
from bio-renewable resources.
According to a press release from the Center for Innovative Food Technology, those products are providing
superior results when compared with other materials.
The company’s CellPro and Dymasorb sorbents were recently named to the United States Department of
Agriculture BioPreferred catalog.
"Without the guidance from Jim Matzinger, from the Center for Innovative Food Technology’s NW Ohio
Green Products Center, the listing of these products whould not have happened," Rankin stated.
Xorb manufactures varieties of high performance materials for differing liquids and circumstances.
The information was provided through The Northwest Ohio Green Products Center, a program of CIFT.
The USDA’s BioPreferred program requires the federal government agencies to give purchasing preferences
to businesses producing bio-based products.
