CYGNET – Timothy Cole, 53, of Bays Road, Rudolph, lost control of a Ford E150 van on Thursday at around
8:13 p.m. on Cygnet Road, east of Loe Road.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s department, Cole was westbound on Cygnet Road when he crossed the
center line and left the roadway ending in a ditch.
Cole and one of his passengers, Connie Laws, 58, of Wayne, were both taken to Wood County Hospital for
treatment of injuries by the Bloomdale EMS.
Another passenger, Jacqueline Sturges, 50, of Rudolph, declined treatment and indicated she would find
her own way to the hospital.
Cole was cited for failure to control.
