Both dresses were featured Monday during a fashion show of wedding styles through the decades, held at Kingston. Models wore dresses collected by Judy Sikorski of Rossford. TONTOGANY - The Washington Twp. Alumni held their biennial banquet on May 11 at Otsego Elementary.
The 87 alumni, spouses and friends present were greeted by Wayne Michaelis Jr. and Janice Kaiser and registered by Jacquelyn Shank, Joyce Asmus and Betty Buehrer. Kaiser gave the invocation.
Shank introduced the honored classmates of 1943, 1952 and 1953. There were 10 present. Buehrer presented each with a deep red carnation in a bud vase.
Evelyn Pauff was recognized for her years of teaching.
The Hot Flashes from Pemberville performed.
Buehrer read notes from alumni who were unable to attend. David Mertz listed classmates who have died since the 2011 banquet.
Mertz spoke about Edythe's Button Box in reference to Edythe Huebner, a 1925 alumna.
