Installation
of new traffic signals on North Main Street between Poe Road and Van Camp Road is continuing as weather
permits. Thursday this worker was preparing for new signals to be installed at the Kroger store
entrance/exit. Once all of the new traffic signals are installed, the entire system is to be synchronized by
a computerized controller. Cameras mounted on the arms that also hold the lights will be used to help
monitor traffic and control the lights. (Photo: J.D.
