Cats win Qualifier
The BG Diamond Cats 13U team won the Carter Park Classic Nations State Qualifier this past weekend. The
team went 4-1 and won as the No. 4 seed.
In the championship game, the Cats downed Next Level Black 13-5.
In the championship, top hitters for the Cats were: Tucker Craft, two singles; Bryce Williams, two
doubles, single; Kyle Williams, single, double; Austin Meier, two singles; Griffin Pollock, two doubles;
Matt Boes, two singles.
Craft pitched for the Cats fanning three in six innings of work.
BG Diamond Cats 6,
Stingrays 1
Bryce Hoehner led the way at the plate and on the mound for the Cats in the semifinal victory. Hoehner
had two singles and also struck out six.
Isaac Elsasser also pitched for BG.

BG Diamond Cats 5, Next Level 4
Cody Thompson had two singles for the Diamond Cats in the victory. Eli Brown, Connor Bergeron, Logan
Meronk, Christian Gulgin, Jared McNulty and George Jacob all added a single apiece.
On the mound, Brown had seven strikeouts. Cayden Seither also pitched.

Eli Brown had a clutch hit in the bottom of the ninth inning to help his team pick up the win. Brown hit
a line drive single to score Connor Bergeron with two outs.
Top hitters for BG were: Brown, five singles; Bergeron, four singles; Logan Meronk, double, two singles;
Jared McNulty, double, two singles; Zach Furnas, two singles; Christian Gulgin, two singles.
Meronk had five strikeouts for the Cats. McNulty, Furnas and Bergeron also pitched.

Exchange/Rotary Clubs 5
Gavin Lammers led the way at the plate for Huntington with a triple and a home run.
Pitchers for Huntington were: Lammers, Adam Sadowski, Tyler Schauer, Ethan Brissette and Garrett Ford.

Stephen Glomski, Daniel Castro, Matthew Webb and Alex Ross pitched for Exchange/Rotary Clubs.
ROOKIE
Modern Woodmen 12, Wood County Insurance/Evans Home Loans 8
Leading hitters for Modern Woodmen were: Cash Wisniewski, 2-for-3; Colby Joseph, 3-for-3; Kaiden Sanchez,
3-for-3; AJ Miller, 2-for-2; Tara Hastings, 2-for-2; Logan Neifer, 2-for-2; Zayne Sears, 2-for-2.
For Wood County Insurance/Evans Home Loans, Jackson Shafer and Cameron Butler were both 2-for-2. Aiden
Alegria was also 2-for-2 with a double and Brady For hit a home run.
The game was stopped in the middle of the third inning due to darkness.

Myles Pizza/Eagles 12, Perrysburg Major Vegas 5
Top hitters for Myles Pizza/Eagles were: Edward Becker, Bo Claypool and Colin Fahy, two singles apiece.
Nathan Hart added a single and a double, while teammate Andrew Golus, named Player of the Game, doubled.

Hart and Claypool pitched for Myles Pizza/Eagles.
