This is a copy of a letter I recently sent to Bob Latta.
Bob, once again the VA has made the headlines. "Bonuses for under performers," not to mention
horrible service to our most cherished asset, veterans. How many times will we allow this big lethargic
red tape government entity to slap down our veterans. The managers wallow in wealth and bonuses while
veterans succumb to their wounds. Bob, please be bold, and sponsor a bill that all but closes down the
VA. I would like to see all VA funds diverted to local health care organizations, and prioritize veteran
health.
Let vets choose what health care is best for them. Let them get care close to home. I find it ironic,
that we have cowards running a government department that provides health care to heroes. How many more
headlines will we see, and how many vets will die after coming home from serving their country before we
step in and and make changes?
