GREENWOOD, Ind. (AP) — A central Indiana man and his teenage son are preparing to embark on an ambitious attempt to fly around the world in a single-engine plane.

If the Plainfield father and son succeed, Haris will become the youngest co-pilot to make an around-the-world trip.

"I am really looking forward to getting going. I only just got my license but I can't imagine a better way to spend my summer," the junior at Plainfield High School said in a news release.
