DunnB-obitRobert B. "Buck" Dunn, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013.
He was born February 8, 1927 in Henry County to Frank P. and Troas Q. (Adams) Dunn. He married Midge Dohm on August 24, 1947 and she survives in Bowling Green.
Buck was the owner of Dunn's Carpet Service in Bowling Green.
He graduated from Toledo Barber School in 1948 and was a barber for a few years. Buck was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge, member of the Bowling Green Country Club and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Navy where he was a Seabee. During his time as a Seabee, he assisted in the evacuation of the island of Bikini Atoll before the nuclear detonations.

Leo Hohman, 104, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday December 22, 2013.
Leo was born in New Riegel, Ohio, to the late Ferdinand and Estella (Lahrman) Hohman. On December 22, 1936 he met the love of his life Rosemary "Mary" Fraley at a Christmas party and they were married October 21, 1939. She survives.
Leo is also survived by his daughter: Leona Hohman of Bowling Green and a brother, Donald Hohman of New Riegel.
Leo was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Edward, Alexina, John, Arthur, Norbert, Hilda, Rosa, Rita and Herbert.
Leo was a truck driver for the Ohio Farmers Grain & Supply Company now known as Country Mark.
Leo was a member of the St. Thomas More Catholic University Parish, Bowling Green. Leo enjoyed woodworking and yard work. He and Mary enjoyed traveling especially to Puerto Rico.

Robert McGuire, of Bellevue, died Monday (Dec. 23, 2013).
Born June 29, 1934 in Bowling Green to Lyal and Dorthea (Housholder) McGuire; graduated from Bowling Green HS in 1952.
Visitation 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Auxter Funeral Home, Bellevue. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue

Lt. Cmdr. Roy Dale Snyder, 90, of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Haskins, passed away Thursday (Dec. 12, 2013.)
He was born in 1923 to John and Bessie (Risor) Snyder.
In 1944 he married Martha Speck and she preceded him in death.
He served in the Navy in World War II as a Lt. Cmdr. aboard the Coral Sea.
He also was preceded in death by sons, James and Mike; brothers, Ray Snyder, Howard Snyder and Earl George Snyder; sisters Ethel Gearhart and Dorothy Buehrer.
Surviving are his daughter, Jeanette Britton, Arlington; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

David_Clair_SchumacherDavid Clair Schumacher, 87, of Findlay, died at 1:58 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
He was born on September 26, 1926 in Putman County, Ohio, to the late David and Edna (Suter) Schumacher. Clair married Helen L. Iams on June 26, 1954 and she preceded him in death on January 18, 2004.
Surviving are his children, a daughter, Connie Schumacher, Norwalk, Connecticut, three sons; Les Schumacher, Findlay; Tom Schumacher, North Baltimore, Ohio; Tim Schumacher, Louisville, Kentucky; and one granddaughter, Katrina (Jared) Rittichier, Toledo, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Chauncy Schumacher.
