Donald R. Marsh
Donald R. Marsh, age 86, of Lemoyne, OH, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Unit.
He was born on February 5, 1928 in Stony Ridge, OH to Norman and Bessie (Thornton) Marsh. On June 8, 1951 he married Carol Keller in Perrysburg, OH and she survives.
Don was a long time employee of the C & O Railroad for 42 years (now CSX) and was an honorably discharged veteran, doing aerial photography for the Army Air Corps serving from 1950-1952. A highlight most recently, he went on Honor Flight on June 21, 2013.
When his health permitted, Don and Carol enjoyed taking trips on their Gold Wing Motorcycle. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Friends on Wheels and the Gold Wing Touring Association (which they traveled nearly all the states in the U.S.) and was also a member of the Stony Ridge Civic Club.

Betty L. Handley, age 71 of Perrysburg Township, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
She was born on July 3, 1943 in Toledo to Sidney and Gladys (Modisett) Hess.
Betty was a 1961 graduate of Libbey High School.
She was employed for many years at Piatt's Bakery in Perrysburg.
She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Master in Perrysburg.
Betty enjoyed family vacations to Florida, the Smoky Mountains and Yellowstone. She also enjoyed casino trips with her sisters and nieces, baking, sewing, cards and Bingo. Betty's greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving is her loving husband of 53 years, Charles H. Handley; children, Terry Handley, Julie (Tim) Shank, Chuck (Rachel) Handley and Fred Handley; grandchildren, Seth, MacKenzie, Sophie, Brooke and Meghan; brother, Tom Hess; sisters, Jackie (Robert) Busch and Ada Davis.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Robert, Sidney, James and Lester.

Earl A. Kreais, 83, of Fostoria, passed away at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Mercy St. Vincent's Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born December 7, 1930 in Wayne to the late August M. and Ada L. (Wade) Kreais. He married Rosella A. Frank on October 7, 1961 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tiffin, and she survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are children, Patricia A. (Dean Stell) Kreais, Fostoria, Kenneth E. (Connie) Kreais, Findlay, Ronald L. Kreais, Fostoria, Kevin M. (Kimberly) Kreais, Fostoria, Gary J. (Jenny) Kreais, Fostoria; son-in-law, William Scherger, New Riegel; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Iva Kieffer, Fostoria.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Scherger; five brothers, Sylvester, Paul and Ralph Kreais and John and Glenn at infancy; and a sister, Ada Brossia-Abel.

PAULDING - G. Ronald Lane, age 78, died Thursday, July 10 at the Tidwell Hospice Center, Arcadia, Florida.
He was born March 18, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio the son of William T. and Eliner (Jacqua) Lane.
On April 20, 1957 he married Donna J. Patterson, who survives.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War.
He was a self-employed coatings specialist and a former Paulding County Commissioner.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Lane, Paulding; children: Tony (Barbara) Lane, Maumee, Scott (Susan) Lane, Tontogany, OH, Christopher (Linda) Lane, Perrysburg, OH, Matthew (Ann) Lane, Bowling Green, OH, Alice Crandell, Toledo, Tina (Scott) Mekus, Swanton, and Abby Lane, Rudolph, OH; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Tom (Ruth) Lane, Maine; and a sister, Beverly Gruenke, of Michigan.

Leo Arthur Corrigan, age 94, died on July 18, 2014 in Hilton Head, SC.
He was born on July 17, 1921 in Lancaster, New Hampshire, the son of Arthur and Delia Corrigan.
He had four brothers and two sisters who preceded him in death.
He married Hilda Boyle of Dalton, New Hampshire in September 25, 1950. She died in July 1979. Together they had five children.
On February 16, 1980, Leo married Anne Cummings. Together they raised six children - Dennis (Sandy) of Troy MI, Gail (Tony Wessendorff) of Houston TX, Daryl of Phoenix AZ, Brent (Linda) of Denver CO, Scott (Wendy) of Hilton Head, SC, and Bruce (Julie) of Bowling Green OH. Leo had 17 grandchildren, including Megan, Craig, and Luke Corrigan, and four great-grandchildren.
Leo enlisted in the Army Air Corps in March 1943. He completed flight training, became a flying instructor and piloted a C-47 aircraft during WWII spending much of his time in Asia.
